Real time reporting
Real time reporting uses software and computers linked on a secure network to allow a live feed from a stenographer to be viewed and edited by court users in real time. It can dramatically speed the time taken to retrieve documents and ease the operation of lengthy arbitrations. We work in partnership with the creators of one of the most sophisticated real time reporting software packages used in the UK and US. The software is compatible with other litigation support software and allows court users to move materials seamlessly between the office and court.
Same-day reporting
A pair of court reporters, usually stenographers, attend and transcribe the hearing. They produce edited transcripts as soon as possible after the end of the hearing. Usually the transcripts are emailed to the parties as soon as they are ready, with hard copies delivered to the court or tribunal the following morning.
This solution allows the parties to review the day’s proceedings before the next hearing but at considerably less cost that a real time solution. This is a cost effective method of covering shorter arbitrations.
